Disassembly & Reassembly Policy
What is Disassembly / Reassembly?
Cerakote requires baking at precise high temperatures. Therefore, firearms must be completely disassembled to bare individual receivers or slides. All springs, pins, synthetic polymers, and internal mechanisms must be safely removed prior to custom prep, sandblasting, and coating.
Armor Labor Pricing
Disassembly and reassembly fees are always on top of the Cerakote coating prices. It usually ranges between $65 – $90 depending on the firearm type. If you deliver fully stripped bare metal components, this fee does not apply. If your firearm is not listed, please give us a call.
